Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks 131-92 in Game 5 at the TD Garden to win a record 18th title. Although the team had been successful in recent years, led by longtime members Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown, the acquisition of Derrick White, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jrue Holiday enables them to win their first title since 2008. A “Rolling Rally” victory parade from TD Garden to the Hynes Convention Center is held on June 21, 2024.
